Early morning scene on the Jackson Avenue line highlights the simple air-conditioning methods of the 2600/2700 series. Humid heat forces all but two car windows open. The two closed windows were probably frozen shut. Hercules himself could not open a jammed trolley window on the hottest days.

Dreamy scene on single track stretch of the Jackson line, void of other traffic, seems almost idyllic.	Cherubic motorman, Tom Moran, a true son of Erin, offers a cheerful morning smile to the camera before taking 2634 out of the Greenville yard for the Hoboken terminal.
