2639 is shown on the Osborne Terrace wye in Newark on the last day of operation of the 27 Mount Prospect line, December 17, 1937.	2639 is shown leaving the Osborne Terrace wye. It's the the last day of service for the Mount Prospect line and Charles Wrege just happened to have his camera handy for this fortunate final shot on a damp, dreary winter day. (SE, 4-307, 56XL).

Four years after the transfer to the Hudson Division, 2639 approaches the up-ramp to the Hoboken El on the Summit line, 1941.	Heading for the Weehawken terminal, 2639 sports platform roof lights, unheard of in the old Essex Division. Note the single track route.
