2646 approaches the up el ramp, inbound on the Summit line at Palisades Avenue, 1941.
Brakes too late, speed too fast and 2647 backended 2755 behind the Hudson County Jail at Pavonia Avenue. The flat wheels clattered on the pull-in to the Greenville yard once the dust cleared. Both cars were ultimately scrapped at the Federal Iron & Salvage Company yard on the Passaic River in Newark. 1946.
